What To Expect For Your Children

When you arrive at the FBC Kids Welcome Kiosk, one of our ministry partners will guide you through the computerized check-in process. If it is your first time worshipping with us, we will ask for some basic information to ensure you and your child feel secure and any special needs are communicated with our partners. We suggest arriving at least 10 minutes before service so you don’t feel rushed. Once check-in is complete, we will introduce you and your child to their teachers. We want to do everything possible to make the transition from parent to teacher a smooth one. We are so honored to have you and your child as our special guests.

Nursery (Birth-18 months): We cuddle babies in an environment where each child sees, hears, and feels the love of Jesus. Our caregivers pray over each child, sing songs, and interact with them through imaginative play.

Toddlers (19 months-2 years): We love on toddlers and show them Christ through social playtime, worship, crafts, prayer, and Bible storybooks.

Preschoolers (3-5 years old)We engage preschoolers in ministry through fun games, art, video lessons, and interactive activities. Our youngsters focus on three basic truths: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

What To Expect For Your Teen

Each Wednesday, we meet for dinner from 5:30 to 6:00 pm, then Worship/Small groups from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.

Our goal in Student Ministry at FBC Sterlington is to engage students and inspire deeper faith in by connecting the timeless truth of the gospel to the way they actually process information in their stage of life.  Each Wednesday our students share a meal together, play games, sing, experience a large group teaching time, then break into small groups with other students in their stage of life.
